In June of 1999, EcoMat installed and started up a one-cubic-meter denitrification
system on Sea World Florida's Shark Tank exhibit. This exhibit holds about
680,000 gallons of sea water. One of the difficulties in this job was the
very tight space that was available for the installation. EcoMat first performed
sufficient engineering so that Sea World could obtain the necessary county permits.
The facility is shown in the two pictures below. On the right is the one-cubic-meter
denitrification reactor which was specially designed with a low profile and
a larger diameter than EcoMat's standard. In that picture, the controls are just
behind the reactor. The control skid is shown in the picture on the left. Just
behind the control skid, the small white overflow tank may be seen.
